Getting Started
Do I need a referral?
No referral needed. You can schedule directly through our website or by calling (336) 649-6828.
What’s the free consultation?
A 15-minute phone or video call to discuss what brings you to therapy, answer your questions, and determine if we’re a good fit. No pressure, no commitment.
How do I know if you’re the right therapist?
Trust your gut. In the consultation, pay attention to how you feel. Do you feel heard? Understood? Safe? The therapeutic relationship is the most important factor in successful therapy.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. We offer secure telehealth throughout North Carolina and Virginia.

Clinical Approach
What modalities do you use?
We’re trained in EMDR, DBT, ACT, and humanistic approaches. We use what works for you.
Do you prescribe medication?
No. We’re therapists, not psychiatrists. We can refer you to prescribers if medication might be helpful.
How long will I be in therapy?
It varies. Some people come for a few months; others work with us for years. We’ll check in regularly about progress and goals.
Is everything confidential?
Yes, with legal exceptions: if you’re a danger to yourself or others, or if child/elder abuse is disclosed.
Specialized Services
Do you provide gender-affirming care letters?
Yes. We provide letters for HRT, surgeries, name changes, and legal documentation.
Do you work with neurodivergent adults?
Absolutely. ADHD, autism spectrum, and other neurodivergent experiences are honored and supported here.
What does “tech-informed therapy” mean?
We understand how digital systems affect mental health. We help you navigate compulsive tech use, social media anxiety, and attention capture, while understanding these aren’t personal failings but predictable responses to exploitative design.
