(she/her)
LCSW Associate
Identity-Affirming. Liberation-Focused. Collaborative.
Emily is a therapist at Bridge Counseling & Wellness working with adolescents (12+) and adults who are ready to understand beliefs and systems that have shaped how they see themselves.
Her clients are navigating life transitions, making sense of past experiences, and doing the deeper work of building a life that actually fits. She creates space for that process to unfold with safety, curiosity, and honesty. This is not about fixing people. It is about helping them recognize the resilience they already carry.
Emily works with LGBTQ+ adolescents and adults claiming joy and authenticity, parents hoping to better understand their gender diverse child, and women moving through major life transitions. Her approach is warm, conversational, and grounded in a liberation-health framework, drawing on DBT and IFS to support growth at a pace that aligns with each client’s needs.
She believes that finding peace in uncertainty is not only possible. It is where the real work begins.

“I’ve been in the river myself, navigating neurodivergence, masking until exhausted, questioning identity, feeling captured by systems designed to exploit me. I know what it’s like to appear successful while drowning inside. That lived experience, combined with clinical training and systems leadership, shapes how I practice: with rigor, empathy, and commitment to going upstream.”
